Carson officials offer $100k for information in shooting death of officer's son

CARSON, Calif. (KNX) – The city of Carson doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed the son of a Los Angeles Police officer in January.

On Jan. 10, Rodquece Beezer, 28, was sitting in his car in the area of Northwood Avenue and Abbotston Street when a car pulled up and shot Beezer multiple times.

The only information released regarding the suspect was that the car the suspect was described as “a light-colored van”, according to CBS L.A.

Anyone with any information regarding Beezer’s death is urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
