
LOS ANGELES (KNX) — One lucky lottery ticket holder has found him or herself flush with cash Saturday morning. A winning lottery ticket in the Mega Millions draw, priced at an eye-popping $421 million, was reportedly sold at a gas station in Woodland Hills on Friday.
California Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased at the Chevron station located in the 6000 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard, The winner matched all five lotto numbers: 3, 16, 25, 44, and 55, plus the mega number of 13, to take home the grand prize of $421 million.
The jackpot had been building since the last win in October, when a ticket holder took hom $108 million.
Friday’s winner will have the option of receiving the jackpot in a lump sum payment of $289.5 million, or receiving it in 30 graduated payments over 29 years.

One ticket with five matching numbers but without the Mega number was sold in Ohio. It is worth about $3 million because the player utilized a Megaplier option. Three other Match 5 winning tickets worth $1 million a piece were sold in Mississippi, New York, and Texas.
The jackpot reset to $20 million for its next drawing next Tuesday.
