Michael Lam was killed on Sept. 3, according to the LAPD, whose officers received a call around 9:35 p.m. that day for a battery investigation in the 900 block of Centennial Street.

Lam was taken to a local hospital for blunt force trauma and later died.
Detectives learned Lam was the property manager at the location and was possibly involved in a dispute in front of the apartments before he was assaulted.
Anyone with information about Lam’s death is asked to call LAPD detectives J. Calzadillas or S. Ruiz at (213) 996-4116. Anyone who wants to remain anonymous can call L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
