VIDEO: Police arrest suspect in L.A. street robbery

LOS ANGELES (KNX) – The Los Angeles Police Department said one person was arrested in a string of robberies in Los Angeles, in which the suspects would follow victims until they made it outside their homes or businesses and then rob them.

One of the robberies occurred Oct. 29, 2021 on East Pico Boulevard, police said. The victim noticed a white Maserati following him and when he arrived at his business, the Maserati pulled up and two suspects got out and chased him.

Video released by the department shows the suspects pushing the victim against the car and then onto a parked car. While on the ground, a struggle ensued between the victim and the suspects.
Another suspect ran over and joined in before all three took off which the victim’s belongings.

When the victim was on the ground, police said one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim’s face and demanded his watch.

While the victim was being robbed, another suspect went into the victim’s car and stole items from inside.

The suspects took off with two watched, a laptop and an iPad.

An investigation led to the arrest of Cheyenne Hale, 25, on April 6. While Hale was arrested, detectives found on a loaded handgun on him as well as seven more handguns in his residence, multiple drugs including cocaine and methamphetamine, and $21,000.

The other suspects have not been arrested at this time.
