VIDEO: $50k reward offered for arrest and conviction of driver in deadly South L.A. hit-and-run

LOS ANGELES (KNX) – A $50,000 reward is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the driver who struck and killed a 75-year-old man in South L.A. last month.

The incident occurred April 27 around 9:15 p.m. on Trinity Street.

Video released by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic division shows a man crossing the street when a silver car speeds around the corner, striking him.
The car pauses for a moment before driving off and leaving the man to lie on the street.

The man victim, later identified as Hector Hirales, was taken to the hospital where he died.
