LOS ANGELES (KNX) – A fight at a FootLocker left one person stabbed Wednesday in the Fairfax District.

It happened outside the Melrose Avenue location, where a line had formed due to the release of some Nike Dunks, according to TMZ.

An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division told KNX that the call came around 2:20 p.m. and that it was reported as a possible domestic incident.

A witness told TMZ that the suspect jumped the line and two women confronted him. Video provided to the outlet showed a fight ensued.

TMZ did not show the actual stabbing in the video, but said the man stabbed one of the women in what appeared to be her abdomen and noted the stabbing was “brutal.”

The outlet said the suspect took off in a Hyundai; however, the LAPD Media Relations Division told KNX the suspect is in custody. His name has not yet been released.

The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
