If you’ve done any sort of Christmas shopping already this year, you know the prices of everything are just ridiculous.

Even a simple Christmas celebration will set you back a pretty penny, because now inflation has come for our decorations.

According to a new survey by Real Christmas Tree Board, more than a third of Christmas tree growers say their costs have grown by at least 16%, meaning Christmas tree buyers can expect price increases from anywhere between 5% and 15%!

Though droughts and wildfires have certainly affected the variety and quality of Christmas trees, there won’t be any anticipated shortages this year.

According to the National Christmas Tree Association, between 25 million and 30 million real Christmas trees are sold each year in the U.S.
