A North Texas church will hold a service today, praying for the family of its former pastor whose nine-year-old daughter was one of the victims in the Nashville school shooting.
Reverend Chad Scruggs was an associate pastor at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, leaving in 2018 to become pastor of Nashville's Covenant Presbyterian, the home of the school where a former student opened fire Monday.
The shooting suspect killed three nine-year-old children and three adult staff members. One of the children is Hallie Scruggs, daughter of Reverend and Jada Scruggs. She was the youngest of their four children.
The Park Cities Presbyterian sanctuary will be open at noon today for prayer.
