Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. was hospitalized overnight Monday, after falling down at Howard University in Washington D.C. The University confirmed the news in a tweet Monday night.

Jackson is said to have fallen and hit his head while entering the Blackburn Center on campus, the university said, adding that Jackson was taken to the hospital by a university administrator and later joined by Dr. Wayne Frederick, the President of Howard University.

Jackson was on campus for a meeting with Frederick, according to CNN, and was set to speak with students concerned about the living conditions in residence halls.

Jackson was taken to Howard University Hospital after the fall and underwent several tests, including a CT scan, which came back with normal results, according to a statement shared with CNN from Jackson's Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

This is at least the second time Jackson has been in the hospital this year. Back in August, he and his wife Jacqueline were hospitalized with COVID-19.
