
There's another thing that parents are looking at to possibly protect their kids in school.
An ex-Secret Service agent named Mike De Geus has come out with something he calls "Leatherback Gear." These aren't your regular backpacks, however, they're bulletproof. His sales are up 800 percent since the shooting in Uvalde.
De Geus told TMZ that his backpacks have the same armor that Secret Services wear when they're protecting the President.
Another company that sells the same type of gear has seen sales increase 300 percent.
