The universities extended the deadline for fall 2022 applications until Dec. 1 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

“We apologize for connectivity issues that users may have experienced,” Cal State said in a tweet Tuesday afternoon.

“I guess I’m not going to college anymore,” Erica Harness tweeted Tuesday afternoon after the CSU website went down.

“It’s heartwarming to know I’m not the only one that procrastinated to submit … applications,” said another Twitter user named Daniel.

The UC system noted the applications must have already been in progress, announcing any applications started on Dec. 1 would be denied.
