Ventura police seek two teens accused of stabbing 14-year-old at mall

VENTURA, Calif. (KNX) — Officers with the Ventura Police Department are searching for two male teens that allegedly stabbed a 14-year-old boy at the Pacific View Mall on Sunday.

The incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. The victim was reportedly stabbed multiple times after being accosted by two other boys believed to be between 14 and 16 years of age, according to police.

The stabbing took place near the parking structure outside JCPenney. The victim was immediately taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries “to his upper body,” police said.
