Rangers shortstop Corey Seager will be activated from the 10-day injured list and will be in the starting lineup for the Rangers' matchup against the White Sox on Wednesday night at Globe Life Field, Rangers general manager Chris Young said on the 'GBag Nation' on 105.3 The Fan.
Seager's return to the lineup is a welcome sight after he was expected to miss more than two weeks when he suffered a sprained right thumb on July 21. The Rangers went 3-6 in the nine games he missed and the offense has scored just six runs in the last four games.
Seager is hitting .350 with 15 homers and 58 RBI this season.
