29 cars towed in Fort Worth street racing bust

Fort Worth (1080 KRLD) - 29 cars were towed away during a street racing bust in north Fort Worth.

Our partners at NBC 5 tell us that Fort Worth police arrested or cited around 60 adults and seven juveniles, some of which were allegedly​ part of a local street racing group.

The bust happened at around 10:00 p.m. last Friday night, in the 5500 block of Sandshell Drive, near 35-W and North Loop 820 in north Fort Worth

Police said they conducted the operation in response to a "planned illegal reckless driving exhibition hosted by a local street racing group."
