On Nov. 2, police respond to a shooting call at a home on Lake Country Drive.

When officers got there they found 31 year old Chelsea Heimann of New York, shot several times in the front yard. She was rushed to the hospital where she later died.

At the scene, investigators interviewed Heimann's mother, who said Chelsea and her father had "gotten into it", and that George Heimann had shot his daughter as she ran off. George Heimann was still at the scene and admitted to the murder saying he "snapped" before pulling the trigger. His gun was found at the scene.

He was arrested and charged with murder. Investigators are still trying to pin down a motive.

However, Kerri Dwyer is Chelsea's cousin and says George Heimann suffers from severe dementia which could explain why he shot her.

Additionally, Chelsea had recently moved back from New York to take of her mother who has stage 4 cancer.

Dwyer says a funeral will be held for Chelsea this weekend, but unfortunately her mother is in the hospital, and wont be able to attend.
