The final ballots are now counted from the November 2nd election and the Fort Worth school district's bond proposition "A" has passed by 57 votes out of nearly 25,000 cast.

On election night, the margin was 42 but 15 additional votes were tabulated when provisional and absentee ballots were counted yesterday.

Proposition "A" provides $1.2 billion for major interior renovations at all Fort Worth district middle schools plus construction of four new elementaries.

All other propositions on the ballot failed.
