A man and a woman are okay after being fished out of the water at White Rock Lake late Monday night.
A Dallas Fire-Rescue high water rescue squad put into the water near where White Rock Creek empties into the lake near Lawther and East Mockingbird.
Despite the dark skies and very high winds, they found the two and hauled them to safety. They were taken to a local hospital to get checked out.
The timing was just after last night's torrential storms which caused high water on the creek but it has not been confirmed whether that was part of the problem.
