The Dallas Police Department's Child Abuse Unit is running an investigation after a child was found dead on Monday.
Police say they were called to the 2800 block of Silkwood Street where Dallas Fire-Rescue had found a 5-year-old boy had died. The child showed signs of trauma.
Witnesses have been questioned, but no further details have been made available.
