A Dallas man in facing eight felony charges from a shooting that happened in July.
On the same day that a woman opened fire inside the Dallas Love Field terminal, there evidently was a second attempted mass shooting in Dallas.
Dallas Police say 37-year old Emmanuel Buckley opened fire on a boarding house in the 4300 block of Canal Street.
Butler is accused of eight counts of deadly conduct with a firearm for opening fire on that boarding house. However police say Butler was the only one hit by gunfire.
Reports say Butler was arrested at Parkland Hospital after showing up with an unexplained gunshot wound. Police say they are not sure if anyone in the boarding house returned fire, but a witness said he heard a gunshot from a different location about the same time.
The grand jury also indicted Butler for two counts of evading police from separate incidents last year. He is currently being held in the Dallas County jail on combined bonds totaling $800,000.
