Dallas (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police have made an arrest after a man was found fatally shot in his car on Saturday morning.
Police say they received a shooting call at approximately 1:49 a.m. on Saturday, August 14th. Upon arrival at the Estara Apartments, located at 11265 Woodmeadow Pkwy, officers found 26-year-old Jesse Avila had suffered a gunshot wound to the head while in his car.
Detectives later identified 27-year-old Alex Castillo as the man responsible for Avila's murder. Castillo was subsequently taken into custody and interviewed. He has since been booked into Dallas County Jail for murder.
His bond has yet to be set.
