Dallas Police have been investigating potential gas theft suspects, and they've now arrested four people they say were trying to steal hundreds of dollars worth of fuel.
Police say officers were investigating several fuel theft suspects. They say those suspects pulled into a gas station near Garland Road and Easton in northeast Dallas with three cars. One of those cars was a pick-up modified with an external gas tank. Police say one man added a device to the fuel pump letting them steal gas, another pumped 80 gallons and two others served as look-outs.
All four were arrested for organized criminal activity, theft of a petroleum product, and unlawful use of a criminal instrument. In addition to the device added to the pump, police say they found two more in the suspects' cars.
