A Dallas Police officer was arrested on Monday, charged with sexual assault of a child.
Dallas Police say officer Tyron Williams Jr was taken into custody and charged with Sexual Assault of a child for an incident that occurred in the city of Dallas.
Police say Williams has been with the department since March 2009 and is currently assigned to the South Central Patrol Division.
Officials say Williams is on Administrative leave pending an investigation.
