The funeral for a longtime Dallas Police Officer was held Monday.
Officer Scott Harn, a 32-year-veteran, died of complications from COVID-19.
Harn was with the Open Records Unit and had been with the department since January 1989.

Family remembered him as a man who lived his dream by working as a Dallas Police Officer. He was an instructor for the police underwater recovery team.
Harn was born in Mississippi and played football as a walk-on at Mississippi State.
A knee injury ended his playing career, causing him to turn to law enforcement. His first job was as an officer in Mississippi before he moved to Dallas.
He is the fourth Dallas police officer to die in the line of duty in 2021, and the fourth to die of coronavirus-related causes since the pandemic began.
