Dallas County is still working to restore service at the County's Central Appraisal District after it was hit by alleged ransomware hackers, but is could be days before things are back online.

The Central Apppraisal District is used by homeowners, researchers, and heavily by real estate agents to find the values of homes and property taxes. But since Tuesday morning everything has been shut down including the computers, the servers, the website, e-mail...everything.

Cheryl Jordan says they may not be able to fix things until Monday or later. In the meantime there is a work-around. Jordan says they have the link on their Facebook page, which is still working.

One positive not, all the taxpayer appeals were wrapped up two weeks ago and are not affected.
