A Denton man is making himself at home at the county jail again, it's a place he knows all too well.

Denton Police say they arrested the 50-year-old man Christmas morning after it was reported he threatened to shoot an employee at the QuikTrip gas station on University Drive.

Police records show it's the 68th time the suspect has been arrested in Denton since 1997.

During his most recent arrest, he told police he never threatened anyone at the store, but when police told him he was being arrested the man started swearing at the officers, threatened to kill them, and kicked one of them.

The man is now facing charges of assaulting a police officer and making a terroristic threat.

Reports say he's been convicted of four felonies over the years, all for obstruction or retaliation, and of dozens of lesser crimes like public intoxication, theft of service, and trespassing.
