DFW Airport's remodel of Terminal "C" is being built something like a modular home based on an animated video released by the airport yesterday.
Massive pieces of the four-gate remodel are being put together elsewhere and will be trucked into place and assembled on-site.
The $115 million project is part of a $2 billion project announced earlier this year.
The contractor says each of the six sections is a square 84-feet on each side. That's just a little smaller than a regulation baseball infield. They'll weigh in at nearly a million pounds apiece.
