A man and his dog are safe after their house caught on fire last night.
Just before 9:00 p.m. North Richland Hills firefighters received a call about a house fire on Belfast Lane. No injuries were reported. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before the home was destroyed.
Even though a thunderstorm was in the area at the time, it is unknown if the fire was caused by a lightning strike. The fire investigator is currently investing the cause.
