We have been telling you about the sudden increase in gasoline prices in the aftermath of Operation Epic Fury in Iran.
There are tips to try and get the best bang for your buck with the increased prices.
Daniel Armbruster with AAA says there are a number of things to avoid.
"One thing is the best way to save on fuel we know is driving the speed limit on the highway," Armbruster said.
"Aerodynamic drag causes fuel economy to drop off significantly."
Also, you'll want to use cruise control as much as possible when safe to do so and also make sure your tire pressure is at the correct level.
On top of that, you'll want to avoid the hard accelerations as that burns gas extremely quickly.
