The dog that attacked a 14-year-old girl inside a northeast Fort Worth home Tuesday has been euthaniuzed.
Fort Worth Code Compliance tells KRLD the decision was made due to the dog's aggressive behavior and the injuries that the girl suffered.
The dog's age, gender and breed are unknown.
The dog's owners surrendered the dog to animal services following the attack.
The girl was taken to Cook Children's Medical Center; currently, there's no word on her condition.
Code Compliance says because the attack happened inside the house, this would be a civil matter and not a criminal matter.
