With drenching rains falling in North Texas this morning, flooding has been a problem for many drivers.

One of the big issues has been in North Dallas where three west-bound lanes of I-635/LBJ are closed near Midway due to road flooding.

Traffic is squeezing into the far right lane and with poor visibility from the darkness and the rain, there have been several close calls as vehicles merge over.

Another big problem is in Denton County where both directions of I-35E were closed from a crash near North Texas Boulevard. North and south-bound traffic has been diverted onto the service roads since before 4 a.m. Denton police say "no major injuries have been reported."
