The first day of testimony has wrapped up in the murder trial of Yaser Said. He's on trial for the deaths of his two daughters. Tuesday's testimony showed the two victims were afraid their father was about to kill them - just a week before the murders.

During the time Amina and Sarah were students at Lewisville High School, they trusted one teacher, gifted student history teacher Renee Hopkins. And in the week before they were killed, they sent their teacher a startling e-mail.

"Somebody should be able to stop him," the email stated. "He can't torment us this way. He shouldn't. Anyways, we are running away, hopefully before the break ends. I know that he will search until he finds us and he will without any drama or doubt kill us."

Hopkins handed the e-mail over to her higher-ups. She later learned from watching the news that the girls had been murdered. Prosecutors say Yaser Said was enraged that he was not in full control of his girls - so he shot them when they were in the back seat of his taxi. Then, they say, Said went on the run for a dozen years.
