Five people, including two juveniles, have been arrested in connection with a street takeover in Fort Worth over the weekend.

As Fort Worth Police arrived at the intersection of Beach Street and North Tarrant Parkway at around 10:30 Saturday night, they saw a Dodge Challenger doing donuts in that intersection, and there was a crowd cheering them on and recording it on video.

Police reports say the car took off and led police on a chase. But with the help of a DPS helicopter all five suspects were eventually captured, arrested and charged.

Two of the individuals, identified as juveniles, were taken to a juvenile detention facility while 17-year-old Bruce Camacho, 19-year-old Gustavo Camacho, and 20-year-old Saul Olade were charged with evading arrest and taken to the city jail. Camacho was also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to NBC 5.

Fort Worth Police Officer Buddy Calzada says they're from the same group that caused a similar disturbance in Austin back in February.

Calzada says some of the spectators that were caught at the street takeover were issued citations for Class C misdemeanors.
