A Fort Worth police officer has been fired five months after he was charged with assaulting his wife.
Fort Worth Police say Corporal Mark Force was off duty at the time of what investigators called a "domestic disturbance." Force was part of the Fort Worth PD's crisis intervention team which is responsible for mental health matters.
Force was fired Tuesday after Police Chief Neil Noakes reviewed the internal investigation.
