A Fort Worth couple are warning other parents after their little boy was attacked by an iguana at SeaQuest, an aquarium at Ridgmar Mall over the weekend.

Cole Gordon tells NBC-5 they were visiting SeaQuest with their three-year-old son Abel when an iguana escaped its enclosure and bit the little boy on the upper arm.

Abel was left with quite a bite that required six stitches. He also calls the staff "very irresponsible." Gordon claims they were "more concerned about the animal than our wounded child."

A statement from SeaQuest says they are assessing what happened and "attempting to resolve it."
