Fort Worth police: Man driving 157 MPH caused fatal crash

Fort Worth police say a man was driving 157 miles an hour when he crashed into an SUV killing the driver.

Police say that on March 15th, 22-year-old Bryce Abernathy was speeding westbound along I-20 near McCart in a Chevrolet Camaro when he slammed into the SUV. The speed limit on that highway is 70 miles an hour.

The driver was killed, and two passengers inside the SUV were hurt. Abernathy is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of manslaughter.
