Friends are saying more about the Fort Worth man who was shot and killed at his own home this week.

People who knew Joe Guzman recall his huge heart as a boxing coach for generations of kids on the north side of Fort Worth.

He's described as not only the coach of his own boxing club but as the former head coach of the North Fort Worth Police Athletic League Boxing Team and a coach and mentor with Texas Golden Gloves in Fort Worth, known for working with teenagers from underprivileged backgrounds.

Guzman died Monday in a case where police say he and a young relative quarreled at Guzman's home. When police arrived, Guzman had already been shot.

The boy was questioned and taken into juvenile custody.
