A man has died in Fort Worth where police say he was shot by a boy who is a relative.
Reports say it started around 5 p.m. Monday. According to a Fort Worth police call log, a woman said her husband had shot himself. But when officers pulled up to the home on Ray Simon Drive in north Fort Worth, they found a different story unfolding.
It turns out the man and the boy had been engaged in a fight that started out verbal and turned physical. Then the boy took a gun and shot the man multiple times, killing him at the scene.
The boy was still there when police arrived. He was questioned but officers have not confirmed if he was detained.
