The city of Frisco has changed quite a bit over the last few years. Once a quiet suburb north of Dallas, Frisco has become one of the country’s most successful cities thanks to a number of businesses moving into town. Now, a new study has named Frisco as the third richest city in America.
Data provider HomeSnack recently unveiled their rankings of the richest big cities in America. To find these results, they conducted a study looking at each city’s median household income, unemployment rate, and poverty rate. Based on these data points HomeSnack placed Frisco as the third richest city in the country, up one spot from last year’s list.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the only cities to beat Frisco on the list were Cary, North Carolina and Centennial, Colorado. Some other DFW cities making the cut were McKinney at number 12, Allen at number 15, Plano at number 19 and Carrollton at number 23. Hopefully Frisco doesn’t mind lending the rest of DFW some money.
