If you're a handyman, one Fort Worth agency could use your help.
The Northside Inter-Community Agency in Fort Worth needs volunteers to help with minor repairs for low-income seniors throughout Tarrant County.

"Anyone who can do plumbing, painting, yard work, things like that - these seniors are in desperate need of these home repairs," Betty Ortiz, NICA volunteer coordinator said.
The nonprofit recently received a $20,000 grant to buy materials for the home repairs.
Ortiz says the need for volunteers is growing.
"We have currently about 40 seniors who will need home repairs," Ortiz said, "and that list is actually building."
