A child is in the hospital with serious injuries after getting hit by an SUV this morning near Comanche Springs Elementary in Fort Worth.
“When we got there we found that there were three victims that were struck by a vehicle,” says MedStar Spokesperson Matt Zavadsky. One patient, a child, has serious injuries. Two patients had minor injuries. But all three had injuries serious enough to be taken to area hospitals, said Zavadsky.
Fortunately they are all expected to recover. An adult woman and two children were hit, but it’s unclear at this point how they are related.
The crash happened at an intersection near the school in a school zone, but the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD has not confirmed whether the children injured are students there.
