At Dallas Love Field, things are starting to unwind as Southwest Airlines is taking advantage of the normally slow travel day to get caught up after a rough few days for flyers.
With so many flights scuttled many had to sleep at the airport. That meant the concession stands had to stay open and staff had to stay late. In other words, it's similar to a winter storm emergency that may last more than a few hours.

Love Field says the number of people who slept over last night was significantly less than over the weekend and the lines today at security checkpoints are much shorter.
Southwest says it is down to 91 flight cancellations systemwide. The site flightaware.com says there have been 12 flights canceled at Love Field today and 75 delays. Southwest has canceled approximately 2,500 flights nationwide since Friday.
