A man has been captured by police and jailed in the sexual assault of an elderly woman in Richardson.
Last month, the victim answered a knock on her door at a senior citizen apartment complex on Rockingham Drive near Custer Drive and West Arapaho. As soon as she opened the door, a man forced his way in and began to sexually assault her.
Reports say before the suspect left, he stole some of her property.
Detectives determined their man was David Gonzalez who was arrested in Dallas yesterday. He's now up on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Aggravated Robbery.
