It all started Monday afternoon when an armed man barged into an apartment apparently looking for a relative, according to reports.
The man left and police were told he was hiding in another apartment. But, hours later, after numerous attempts to contact the man with no success, the SWAT team entered to find that apartment empty.
Just about that time, someone called Mesquite Police to say the gunman was seen at Urban Air Adventure Park, a trampoline business near I-635 / LBJ and I-30.
Police confronted the man at the business who then opened fire. Police returned fire, wounding the man. He was taken to the hospital and will be jailed once he's released there. No officers or by-standers were hurt.
