Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker says her city is ready to assist Uvalde in any way it can.

"The Fort Worth Police Department (and the) Fort Worth Fire Department have reached out to provide their resources as needed in that community," Parker said. "I mean, Uvalde has a volunteer fire department. And I know that Texas Emergency Management Services are already on the ground there helping."

For those looking to help, Mayor Parker is directing people to The Kindness Duck Project, led by Uvalde native Kyle Wagner.
