The McKinney Chamber of Commerce is searching for original, impactful artwork ahead of Black History Month.
This year, the chamber foundation is holding its first-ever Black History Month Art Exhibit - and it needs art.
Minority artists are encouraged to submit work in any medium, as long as it reflects the theme “Legends to Legacies.” Artists can be emerging or established, and don’t have to live in Collin County to send in their work.
Submissions can be sent in here until Jan. 21. Selected artists will be notified that week.
The new exhibit will be showcased the first weekend in February at the McKinney Performing Arts Center.
In addition to being part of the exhibit, top artists get a cash prize.
