Airline workers who have been temporarily furloughed are in for some good news.

Congress just reached a deal on a stimulus bill to bring back more than 30 thousand furloughed airline workers. The airline industry secured another $15 billion dollars to be used to bring back workers and delay talk of payroll cutbacks.

The bill would allow Fort-Worth based American Airlines to bring back more then 17 thousand workers who have been laid off since October.

Whether or not more people will decide they feel safe traveling remains up in the air.

COVID-19 case numbers are still high in North Texas. Dallas County is reporting more than 1,100 new cases, including 355 probable cases as well as 30 deaths.

In Tarrant County, 960 new cases have been reported.
