One person has died in a high-speed, head-on crash on the Dallas North Tollway overnight.
Just before 1 a.m. a wrong-way driver caused an awful collision on the Tollway near Mockingbird.
Police say the wrong-way driver was killed on impact while the other driver was trapped in the terribly mangled wreckage.
Firefighters with heavy power tools worked to extricate her but it took more than a half hour. She was rushed to the hospital. No condition has been released.
