Dallas police seek woman in connection to sexual assault of a child

Dallas police are asking for the public's help to locate a woman they say was involved in the aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The incident happened Saturday at about 5 p.m. in the 17800 block of Campbell Road in Far North Dallas, police said.

Police said the woman, described as between 30 and 40 years old with long blond braids, was seen walking two small white dogs and driving a red car. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored coat and skirt.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call Dallas police Det. Richard Valencia at 214-671-4339.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case. Their phone number is 214-737-TIPS.
