Fort Worth (1080 KRLD) - Residents in a small area of far northwest Fort Worth are experiencing low water pressure. This comes after a pump station was damaged overnight.
According to Fort Worth Water, the Sendera Ranch Pump Station suffered blown-out piping which flooded the station and damaged electrical equipment.
While boil notices aren't currently in effect, this could change should the water pressure, which is currently at 30 to 40 psi, fall below 20 psi.
Fort Worth Water went on to say; "Customers within the affected area can aid the situation by turning off irrigation systems until normal operations resume."
To find out if your area is affected you can enter your address here.
At this time, there is no timetable for when normal pressure will return as damage is currently being assessed.
