A Dallas police car often driven by police officer Jacob Arellano is now parked outside Dallas PD's Northwest Patrol headquarters near Bachman Lake where Arellano was stationed.
The squad car is parked in memory of the officer who was killed Tuesday night in a wrong-way crash as he was driving in to begin his overnight shift.
The car has a large blue ribbon attached to its grille and will remain in place where mourners and well-wishers will be permitted to leave flowers, cards or other mementoes to honor officer Arellano.
